Game Pass access questions
- Do I need to pre-purchase after free play ends?
- No, if you are continuing through an eligible Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription. Subscribers can move from the free Launch Preview into the paid preview period through their subscription. Pre-purchasing through a SEGA-approved digital retailer is another route to continued early play.
- Can I use the Launch Preview on my Xbox console?
- No. The Launch Preview is for PC and Mac, with subscription access restricted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. For Xbox console play, choose Football Manager 27 Console, launching from 10 November 2026.
- Can I install the Console edition on PC?
- Yes. PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can also play Football Manager 27 Console through the Microsoft Store or Xbox PC app. Check the product name carefully when choosing between the PC and Console editions offered there.
- Will my preview career carry over to release?
- Yes. Saves created before launch can continue into the paid Launch Preview and full release without starting again. If you have already begun a career during free play, eligible Game Pass access lets you continue playing through your subscription.
- Does Game Pass also cover Mobile and Touch?
- No. Football Manager 27 Mobile is offered through Netflix, while Football Manager 27 Touch is offered through Apple Arcade. Those editions use separate subscription routes from the Game Pass benefits, so choose access according to the edition you want.
