Start With the Newly Licensed Leagues
Football Manager 27 adds the fully licensed Arkema Première Ligue and ROSHN Saudi League, with Saudi Arabia joining as a playable nation. The Saudi licence covers all 18 member clubs with official logos, kits and player photos, while licensed coverage across the game varies by platform and edition.
What the New League Licences Cover
| Option | Details |
|---|---|
| Arkema Première Ligue | France's top women's league is newly fully licensed, with official logos, kits and player photos. |
| ROSHN Saudi League | A new playable, fully licensed competition covering all 18 member clubs with official logos, kits and player photos. Saudi Arabia's addition brings the announced playable-nation total to 59. |
For a Saudi career, the addition gives you a new country in which to take charge of a club and build your squad. Its asset coverage extends across the league's membership, so the agreement covers more than selected club partnerships. Choose this destination if exploring Saudi football is the main attraction of your next save.
For the French addition, the licence brings official visual identity to the top women's league. Across the wider game, competition presentation also includes branded backgrounds from 19 partners, changing with the competition you are playing in. If presentation matters to your choice, look at the club assets and competition screens you will spend time viewing.
Domestic League Licences by Country

Check Individual Club and Tournament Licences
In Italy, the named club partners are Bologna, Cagliari, Fiorentina, Genoa, Hellas Verona, Juventus, Lecce, Monza, Parma, Roma, Sassuolo, Torino and Udinese. Portugal's club entries are FC Porto, SL Benfica and Sporting CP. If a favourite club is driving your save choice, check its own entry alongside the domestic competition coverage.
Other named club partners include Club Atlético Boca Juniors and Club Atlético River Plate in Argentina, GNK Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia, SK Slavia Praha in Czechia and Club América in Mexico. Keep these individual agreements separate when comparing league coverage. That makes it easier to check the team you care about without assuming the same coverage for its domestic rivals.
The official tournament licences include the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Women's World Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. UEFA coverage includes the Champions League, Women's Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Super Cup and Youth League. If international or continental football is central to your career idea, check those entries alongside your domestic choice.
Choose a League and Club for Your Save
- Shortlist a domestic league according to the football you want to manage, giving yourself a clear destination to check before choosing a club.
- Check the available league and club selection in your edition, because the licensed experience varies by platform and edition.
- Use the clickable scroll bar in Advanced Setup when browsing clubs near the bottom of a league list, helping you reach the team you want to select.
- Choose your club with a squad-building idea in mind, such as developing academy talent or reshaping the team around your preferred style, so your opening decisions have a purpose.
Why Some Club Assets May Be Missing
Some club and player assets may be absent while rights-holder approval is still in progress. Licensed coverage also varies by platform and edition. If a particular kit, logo or player photo matters to your enjoyment, inspect the club in the edition you intend to play before settling into a long career.
